Sara Manzano as invited speaker in the “Conclusiones de la 48º edición del SABCS 2025” event organized by GEICAM in Madrid

Dr. Sara Manzano participated as a speaker in the conference ‘’Conclusiones de la 48º edición del SABCS 2025” organized by GEICAM (Spanish Breast Cancer Research Group). In this event, experts in translational and basic breast cancer research reviewed and discussed the latest advances presented at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium 2025, a reference congress in the field. Specifically, Dr. Sara Manzano reviewed in her talk the latest advances obtained using spatial transcriptomics technologies, a methodology that has recently been used in our group at IIS Biogipuzkoa to investigate the mechanisms of resistance to neoadjuvant endocrine therapy. In addition, the conference reviewed topics related to the use of artificial intelligence or liquid biopsy in the clinical practice of breast cancer or the development of therapies and biomarkers based on the study of epigenetics or the tumor microenvironment.
